Biography |

Amy is a graduate of Nicolet High School in the Milwaukee suburb of Glendale, Wisconsin. She attended the University of Arizona and the UWM Wisconsin Conservatory of Music fingerstyle guitar program. Her debut CD "Jar Full of Pennies" has won many critically acclaimed awards including: The Shepherd Express Metro People's Choice "Best Local Album" 1998, and was nominated as Album of the year at the 1999 Wisconsin Area Music Industry (WAMI) awards. She was voted "Best Acoustic Act" of 1999 by the Shepherd Express readers and won the WAMI award for "Best Folk Artist" in 1997. In 2000 Amy is nominated for two WAMI awards: "Best Female Vocalist & Best Folk Artist. |
